It is essential for children to be included in the process of shaping their community. Their attitudes and ideals influence the ways in which Bowling Green and Warren County grow and change. Through the p.r.i.d.e. for kids program, children can become involved now, beginning with improving their school environment.

p.r.i.d.e. for kids encourages students to develop a positive attitude toward and appreciation for both school and community relationships. The program provides the opportunity for children to learn responsible group membership and opportunity to "think globally, act locally." Our pride for kids teacher's resource guide is full of unique, preplanned activities that help educators integrate them into the existing curriculum. Schools benefit with improved facilities, morale, and atmosphere; children benefit with the experience and knowledge that they have the power to make a difference in their school, community, and environment.
